AlizéLaVie Magazine team and I had the exciting opportunity to watch the premiere Becoming documentary on Netflix, on May 6th 2020. Award-winning Director Nadia Hallgren followed the iconic Michelle Obama, former first lady offering a rare view of her life and dreams. Here is our review. All we can say this document was breathtaking, inspiring and touching. It went beyond our expectations. So far it is our best pick for the year. This is just pure beauty. It just speaks our truth.

Personally I cried watching this. Michelle Obama is such phenomenal woman. She is so passionate, wise and so humble despite being one of the best-known names in the world. Amid this chaotic and desperate situation with this disturbing Pandemic Covid 19 the world is facing, Becoming bring us fresh air, hope and inspiration.

I truly hope this documentary will encourage millions of “Michelle Obama philosophy in young ladies out there! We have a future in Michelle Obama example and words! We can thank her enough! She always will be the perfect USA American citizen and First Lady, she did it, her country first than herself!”

If you haven’t get the chance to read the book yet, I strongly urge you. In that way, you will have a complete understanding, follow the flow. Reading the book is more personal and give you more info to just watching the story. Doing both is great. There are so many things to love about Michelle Obama that even those who might disagree with her husband’s politics admit to being fans. When she revealed the book cover, the author tweeted:

As I prepare to share Becoming this fall, I hope you’ll also think about your own story, and trust that it will help you become whoever you aspire to be.”

As a reminder Becoming is an intimate look into the life of former First Lady Michelle Obama during a moment of profound change, not only for her personally but for the country she and her husband served over eight impactful years in the White House. The film offers a rare and up-close look at her life, taking viewers behind the scenes as she embarks on a 34-city tour that highlights the power of community to bridge our divides and the spirit of connection that comes when we openly and honestly share our stories. You want to watch something that lift you up during this dark time, Becoming is your best choice.

A MUST SEE, you wont be disappointed.
