GRAPHIC DESIGNER (ITALY)

I introduce myself to the readers of the new publication of AlizéLaVie Magazine! I’m Federica Lama, I’m 29 and I’m a dynamic and curious Italian girl! I studied at the Academy of Arts and New Technologies in Rome with the titles of: Graphic Designer, Communication Visualizer and Art Director Junior and I have been working for more than six years in the field of graphics and advertising.

My passions are the artistic skills such as dance (which I studied for 14 years), fashion, travel to observe the various cultures, customs, traditions and all this enriches my greatest passion that is advertising graphics. When I was very young I used to design fashion clothes with my grandmother who is   a seamstress and I was convinced that I wanted to become a great fashion designer but at 9 my parents gave me my first computer and this was love at first sight! Today I am happy to say that graphic design is my job!

I worked as a graphic designer in various advertising campaigns for major automotive and fashion brands! I love the quote from Steve Job that says “Investing in advertising in times of crisis is  like building wings while others fall”, because visual communication is the key to the success of everything.

I have always loathed the math and the patterns but not those of the editorial graphics. The editorial graphics are my favorite, so I especially like working for magazines. I like to find a visual solution to translate every aspect and different cultures in communication.

The graphics represent my work and my greatest hobby! I specialize in the use of Adobe programs, advertising, packaging, creative strategies, video and brand communication.
