As a small child in Haiti, James Hercule received a gift that would forever change his life. His father gave him a camera that would inspire James’ story and legacy. James has been a part of and has covered important historic events such as Presidential Inaugurations in Haiti, Gabon, Dominican Republic and had the privilege of photographing dignitaries from multiple countries around the world, a frequent contributor to the United Nations.
He has also been heavily involved in the world of fashion, music and Art; creating content for Bobbi Brown Cosmetic, 7th on sixth Production for Designers during NY Fashion week, Art Director for Doll House for their 7th on 6th Fashion week show, Production for Halston for their Show during the Oscars, shooting for Kimimi fashion in Trinidad and Tobago, Couture Fashion Week, Dream House and Marketing during LA Fashion Week.
He photographed Lanvin, the brain behind the Red Bottom (Louboutin). He created content for Calvin Klein for their Show in NYFW, worked with Essence Magazine for their Olympian stories and From AIDS to Rehab (a story about a mother whom is HIV). He oversaw Studio 24 Nigeria development, boutiques in Lagos (Lekki and Ikoyi) as well as Abuja, Nigeria, the production for Nigeria Next Super Model,
Nigeria Beauty Pageant NYC 2 years in a row and Ecowas fashion week Nigeria.
He has recently concluded production for the Hit TV series for Netflix “Shagayas and Clarks”. In additional, he has been eyes and brains behind the lenses of campaigns and shows for huge names in the fashion industry such as Puma, FIMA, Niger Married to Medicine the Show on Bravo TV, Atlanta House Wife Show on Bravo TV, AlizéLaVie Media, Africa Connect Online, United Nations HeforShe Campaign for UN, MLife record for Sony Music and Coogi. James’s artwork is at the Museum of fine art in Boston. When he’s not working as a photographer/videographer or creating visual content for companies, he teaches photography for disadvantage children in Haiti and help fundraising for greater cause.
