Global Short Film Awards, established in 2015, was founded by famous fashion producer, designer and entrepreneur Andres Aquinos from New York. GSFA recognizes excellence in short films under 15 minutes long in a variety of subjects. It is an exciting annual event that includes awards presentations, red carpet, fashion shows, and entertainment at one of the French Riviera’s most elegant and iconic venues: the Intercontinental Carlton Cannes. Fashion shows are held in partnership with Couture Fashion Week New York.

Unfortunately this year due to Coronavirus winners are announced on line instead of GSFA glamorous yearly gala in Cannes. It is expected to be back in Cannes May 2021. New competition is open.
Filmmakers can submit their films in 2D and/or 3-D format in one or more subject category. The competition is open to both amateur and professional filmmakers from around the world. Films, including titles and credits, must be in English or in any language with English subtitles. The competition is held annually and provides creative filmmakers with a platform to showcase their work thereby gaining exposure and recognition as well as connecting with decision makers in the industry for possible further business, distribution and purchase
