Egypt (Ify) Ufele, international fashion designer, anti-bullying activist, author, actress and UN Junior Ambassador of peace, is a real role model for young people and surely a change maker. At the age of 10 years old Ify was bullied for being chubby due to chronic illness requiring steroids to save her life. While another child could have been depressed or giving up, she turned this painful and hurtful experience into a blessing outcome through creativity and intelligence. Indeed she used personality and imagination to design a line of clothing for kids who looked like her. She also established a non-profit called BullyChasers.  Ify is on a mission to send a life-line to other kids drowning in a sea of bullies.  Since that moment no one has stopped her or taken her down. She has the wind in her sail. In February 2016 She made her debut as the youngest fashion designer at New York Fashion Week high lightening all sizes with iconic fashion and sassy looks for children, plus-size women, men and boys.  She rocked the fashion world and glimmered NFW while leaving a lasting impression. Quickly most of the American mainstream media picked the success story and started referring to Ify as America’s Child Prodigy for Anti-Bullying. Talk shows including ABC, NBC and CBS showcased her talent and her spirit, adding one more victory over The Bullies.

Without a doubt Egypt (Ify) Ufele has become the emerging fashion mogul capturing the runway and the fashion industry. On the top of this she has won people’s hearts with her impressive determination to be a voice to help kids just like her being bullied everyday. She has been appointed Junior Ambassador of Peace with the United Nations and has an upcoming Anti-Bullying Campaign with singer and actress Lady Gaga’s Born this Way Foundation.  Egypt (Ify) Ufele has conveyed a strong and powerful message to The Haters” with the power of her beautiful mind and spirit while being victorious over life by becoming her own boss. She went from being a little girl running around backstage to being the CEO of her own company with the encouragement of her mother, DrReba Renee Perry-Ufele and her grandmother who taught her to sew. But the sky is no limit for Ify since she is continuing to make a difference and a source of inspiration.

With a book called “Life By My Own Design,” out now and available through Amazon and a manufacturing deal, Ify’s Anti-Bullying platform has become a game changer.

In February 2020 Egypt (Ify) Ufele was one more time the youngest designer to produce her own fashion show during New York Fashion Week while honoring. It was a real success, one of the most diverse events where all sizes, colors, and ages were equally represented. For the premiere many attendees came to support the talented and young visionary entrepreneur who also honored and gave awards to other young people, doing great things! And the icing on the cake, what a better way for her to be celebrated and honored during Black history month as NY1 trailblazers who worked hard to bring about change and Hollywood Access.

Needless to say that this 15 years old young lady has not finished to surprise us with her leadership and feats. Besides, since the outbreak of Covid19 Egypt has embarked on a new mission once she heard there was a shortage of masks and protective gear for the front line staff and Essential Workers during the COVID-19 crisis. Quite naturally as a humanitarian she decided to use her sewing skills to bring her own contribution to this crisis to protect and save lives. With the support of her dynamic mother Dr Reba Renee Perry-Ufele she has been very active making relentlessly masks and bonnets under her Chubiline brand for essential works to protect them. Chubiiline LLC has been supporting senior citizen nursing homes w during this time of Coronavirus Pandemic. In addition she has been treating the nursing staff with food and delivers lunch for free to the community.

Up-to-date, Egypt shipped 1000s of custom-made masks and bonnets across the nation and the orders are still coming in. Despite her studies at home, Egypt stays up late and strives to do her best to produce as much as she can. Her dedication and generosity and courage arouse a lot of admiration and respect.

She teaches us a beautiful lesson of life and humility that everyone should be inspired by her giving and awesome acts to the community. If you need her Chubiiline masks, please contact Egypt.
