UNAMA’s goals

First of all, children are the leaders of tomorrow, thus, we need to pay attention to them. We have to wonder what kind of future we hope for our children in order that they would live in a wholesome country. The main goals of UNAMA Organization are to work toward the alleviation of economic problems, which plague Africa. Moreover, UNAMA wants to highlight the needs, issues and aspirations of Africa but also we have to show the positive image of Africa. Nevertheless, the association hopes are tied to education as the power. Indeed, the agenda of 2030 goals promotes quality of education, innovation & infrastructures, end of poverty, sustainable cities & communities and moreThat’s why, to succeed these in meeting these goals, the association needs to build partnerships. We have to keep in mind that membership in UNAMA includes ambassadors, diplomats; United Nations staff but also UN personnel who share the same ideas and objectives of the organization.

A day of celebration remembrance

On June 16, many students died in South Africa because they led a non-violent protest for equal rights and equal justice in their country. To honor the memory of those children, the Day of the African Child has been celebrated on June 16 every year since 1991. This Day is also the opportunity to pay attention to children’s lives. Our children ensure a bright future for this amazing continent, so we have to believe in it.

The Pen is mightier than the sword.

Knowledge is power.

For us, the children of Africa, the Pen shall be our weapon.

Education shall be our power.

We shall fight illiteracy, disease and destruction.

We shall conquer.

Africa shall be the best place to be for all its future generations.
